The school started and it began to expand so much that it led to the establishment of Trinity International College in the year 1995, which was barely two years after the home school started. The institution operated the first three years at the Government Reservation Area (GRA). For the first three years until it moved to its permanent site of 83 acres of land that is situated in Ofada, Ogun State.
The year after, which is the year 1996, the institution established its second branch of education, which is the Trinity Foundation school, at the same location as Trinity International College. The institution is well known for representing Nigeria in the Science Olympiad; this showcases the level of competence and work.
The dream to establish a university was finally realized in 2019 when the institution, which started as a college, was granted full accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer degree programs at the institution.
Trinity University is currently situated on its temporary campus, which is located near Queens College, Yaba, Lagos, while the permanent campus that is expected to take off and host the university faculties is located in Laloko, Ogun State.
